Who we are

Why we created NeuroVet Consult

Dr. Svetoslav Penchev positioning a patient for an MRI study

Every day, pet owners and veterinarians face cases where the right decision has to be made in time. In neurological disease, any delay can affect the diagnosis, the choice of treatment, and the patient's prognosis. Yet access to a specialist is not always easy, and distance often becomes an obstacle precisely when an expert opinion is needed most.

That is why we created NeuroVet Consult.

Our mission is to make specialized veterinary neurology, neurosurgery, and diagnostic imaging accessible to everyone — wherever the patient, their owner, or the treating veterinarian may be.

Through the platform, complex neurological cases can be assessed remotely, without compromising the quality of the medical expertise. This saves valuable time and ensures timely access to a specialist opinion when it matters most.

Every consultation is prepared personally by a specialist after an in-depth review of the medical records, imaging studies, and clinical information. Each case is considered individually, and the final assessment includes a clinical interpretation, differential diagnoses, recommendations for further diagnostics where needed, and practical guidance on treatment and follow-up.

For us, a remote consultation is not simply a review of documents. It is a way for patients to receive a timely specialist assessment, and for veterinarians to receive professional support in diagnostically and therapeutically challenging cases.

NeuroVet Consult was created both for pet owners who seek confidence when making important decisions about their pet's health, and for veterinarians who wish to discuss a complex clinical case, obtain an expert second opinion, or receive specialist interpretation of radiographs, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies.

At the heart of the platform are professionalism, clinical experience, and an individual approach to every patient. Every opinion is prepared personally, based on the current principles of veterinary medicine, with attention to every detail and no compromise in the quality of the medical assessment.

Because we believe that access to specialist expertise should not depend on distance. Every patient deserves a timely and competent assessment, and every veterinarian — the ability to rely on expert support in the most challenging cases.

Distance should never be the reason a patient goes without a specialist opinion.
