Educational Consent

With your explicit consent, fully anonymized case data — from which all identifying information about you, your pet, your clinic, and any referring veterinarian has been permanently removed — may be used for educational and training purposes.

Educational use may include: teaching materials for veterinary postgraduate courses; peer-reviewed publication in anonymized case series; internal training for consulting specialists. In all cases, anonymization is irreversible before any use occurs.

Educational consent is entirely optional. You are asked at the case submission review step whether you agree to anonymized educational use. This checkbox is unchecked by default — consent is never assumed.

Your consent (or refusal) does not affect the quality, priority, or delivery of your consultation report in any way.

You may withdraw your educational consent at any time before your case data has been incorporated into a published or distributed educational resource. To withdraw, contact [email protected] with your Case ID and a request to revoke educational consent.

Once data has been anonymized and incorporated into a published educational resource, it is no longer technically possible to withdraw it, as the data cannot be identified or traced back to its source.

Declining educational consent has no effect on the specialist review, report quality, turnaround time, or any other aspect of your consultation. Consent is strictly voluntary.
